Training Your Downline
The days of “making a list of your 100 closest friends” are over. Try that and you will lose a lot of friends. So what techniques do you teach your downline.
There are two different types of traffic, targeted and untargeted. Targeted is like a pay-per-click campaign, where only interested parties click your ad. Untargeted are those e-mail blaster to “100 million interested prospects” what a croc of bull. If I had a list of 100 million people looking to join a business, I would rule the Internet marketing world. People come into a home business to make money not spend it, so want your downline to invest their advertising budget into places that work, namely targeted traffic to their capture pages.
As a sponsor who have a duty to nurture and protect your downline from wasting their money, this reduces attrition and will increase conversions.
How do you do this, create a training manual or training website. Oh no you dont have the knowledge, boo hoo, none of us did in the beginning, we learned the hard way.
Two programs you can use to create a pdf are open office writer, and freepdf.org , both enable you to download the finished product which you can then upload for all your downline to learn from. This does two things, gets your team off to a head start by showing them what works and what doesn’t; and also this brands you as a leader, how many other teams actually offer something like that.
The training site may be harder to do, but I will be developing a generic training website for anyone in any business. It will be in the form of a membership site with an amazing free section but also a paid section for all those die hard marketers.
