How much linkage is too much?
The search engines get smarter and smarter each year. If they sense irregular link building within your site they may ban you for being black hat.
So here is the big question, how many daily links is too much. Personally I like to keep a steady campaign at all times, because PR is not just 1, 2, 3 it also goes into decimal places.
Minimum I suggest is 20 links a day, which can be easily done with software like comment kahuna, or spending an hour on hubpages.
Maximum is where the real problem is. The most I would do is 50-75. If you even do this many you are most likely doing automated campaigns so to tone it down a notch is not a big deal. Of course you can do more but I want you to play it safe so no you dont get caught by that one Google personnel on his bad day who is just wants to make someone else miserable.
I have witnessed people do over 100 a day without being banned. My suggestion is for your safety and what I practice, take my word with a grain of salt, this is a personal experience and everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
