I have used google’s free adword tool for months now to get great suggestions on how to target my sites.  They would show bar graph type estimates on the competition for keywords, as well as their search volume.  One thing was missing though, the number of searches.

Google now includes an approximate number of monthly searches for each of the keywords to help you estimate your traffic.  This can potentially eliminate need for pricey programs like niche bot and wordtracker.

Also this is a great help to all ad publishers because now you can focus on more high traffic keywords without having to guess about them.  The competition bar is still hard to read but at least it gives a general idea, maybe they will change that next.
